Yes, why do you ask? We met in Texas about 10 years ago. First time I saw her, I thought.........." oh yeah, I'd hit it."
Am I missing something here? So, she's a little big-boned. She's got a great personality.
Actually, this is my hottest pic of her.

heh,heh

My question is how is the 4.6 in comparision to other trucks and also in comparision to the Triton 5.4???

I am not going to being pulling/towing insane amounts of weight, I justwant to make sure to truck will be able to move fairly quick in a supercrew FX4 configuration?

In other words, when people tailgate me (mostly Dodges, I have a theory on D*ckheads drive dodges, but that is for another thread ) will the 4.6 have enough umff to get the hell away from in a hurry?
If I were you I would hold off and purchase a 5.4 instead. I have driven both engines in late model F150's, and here is what I think: the 4.6 seems to be a strong engine, with enough power to do just about anything most people are going to do. The problem I had with it was that the "get up and go" power just wasnt really there. On camping trips with a full bed and 6 people in the cab, the 4.6 didnt seem to have the power necessary for a truck. I must admit that my standards for speed may be a little altered since I also have a Mustang GT, but I strongly feel that the 4.6 doesnt really belong in the F150. On trips up to the desert, the truck struggled to get up to freeway speeds, and at times I found it hard to manuever when I had to (change lanes, pass other drivers, etc.). I just purchased an '04 FX4 w/ the 5.4 and I couldnt be happier. The difference to me is night and day. I dont tow boats, jet-skis, trailers or anything like that, but I still wanted the 5.4 to ensure that I could fill the bed and not worry about having the power to do it. A big reason for choosing the 5.4 was because of the negative experience that I had while driving the 4.6. Like many others said, you will most likely be just as happy with the 4.6, and you may never even regret not having purchased the 5.4. It really comes down to personal preference. If you havent done so already, I strongly recommend test driving trucks with both engines so that you can feel them for yourself.

Dodger blue is right. I have a few mods on my truck. I run the 4.6L which for 151k has been flawless. I still avg 17 to 18mpg. I dont rag my truck. I keep it at 70 or less when I drive. I f I have to get on it, she goes 70 to 90 in a pretty linear fashion. However when you load her down, she works. And she works good, but dont be in a hurry. If you want seat of the pants power, then get the 5.4. On a side note, I did recently consider getting the new body style ford/ I have a 2000 supercab xlt. I drove an 06 a month or so ago. I drove the 5.4 super crew. It did not feel as powerful as say an 02, 03 super crew (5.4) I believe the new truck is a bit heavier too. But in the old style, the 5.4 feels so strong from 40 to the speed limiter. In the new ford it feels like it takes a while. Can anyone else comment?

Dodger you went from a 2v to a 3v and you wonder why it feels so much stronger.... Dont even think about the 4.6-5.4 difference, the heads alone are the biggest difference why it feels stronger
