I posted this also in the brakes forum:

I lost my power brakes this morning on my '05.

I pulled the vacuum line off of the brake booster and there is no vacuum on the line at all.

The truck surges just a little at idle.

Any ideas?

Follow that line back toward the intake & find where it's disconnected/broken/blocked.
