Lean???

Hey y'all well I had my first detailing adventure today...Will post pics of that in the detailing section, but once I was done I had to move my truck so my mom could get out of the driveway, and my dad ran up to the truck once I moved it yelling that there was a mass amount of smoke comming out of the tailpipe?? I ran the Edge and it said I had 2 DTC's Left bank running lean...and Right bank running lean! I dunno why anyone help?? I did not spray/do anything to the engine compartment so I am a little confused. I am, however, 1k past the oilchange mark (I know I know I am a neglegent father to my truck) but that isn't completely my fault. I am taking it in for oilchange tomorrow @ the stealership (its only 20 bucks so I don't have to dispose of oil etc.)Help on ideas why the whole engine is running lean!

Thats what I thought as well. I took it for a drive to Lowes (to pick up the paint for the grill lol) but the DTC's still popped! It was at NOT as well, I don't get it?? Could it be from the delayed oil-change?

not likely about the oil unless you typically consume alot of oil and you dont have alot of oil left in the block....

did you spill alot of water ontop of the engine that it was burning it off? was the smoke coming out the exaust pipe?

Comming out of the exaust pipe!! I was a little suprised, but I will see what the stealership says tomorrow. They get so PO'd when you bring a problem to them...tell them exactly the code and the problem stating "Nope I don't need a diagnostic run for $75" its actually kind of funny!

Burned 2 codes, I do not remember them specifically but the edge told me what they were...and what # they were. If i am not mistaken it was P0107 and P0104. I know they are for Lean Bank Right, and Lean Bank Left!

Could just be a little vacuum leak...listen to your engine and see if you hear a hissing sound under the hood. That will trip lean codes in both banks.
