A little help if you can?

Heres my problem with a little history, I am in the Navy and have been gone for the past month, the truck sat all by itself , returning on friday I drove home, about 30 miles with no problems, returned to work on sunday again with no problems, I drove about 1 mile to a meeting and during the drive back she started to hesitate a little, not much but noticable to me, started getting a little jerky at a constant 55mph, but nothing as long as your accelerating. finally got home, another 30 mile drive and started getting worse. Once home I hooked up my Hypertech which I have been using for the past 3 years on one program and got the following codes,P1000, P1AEE (bogus), and P0008. I returned the truck to factory settings and drove it a bit with no improvements, checked the codes again and all I have now is P1270 (oops!!!! LOL) Check engine light has never made an appearance. any Ideas? Its a 5.4L 2003 F150 4X4.

Might be moister in the fuel that is now running through the system. Do have your battery checked for free at the parts store. If you do get a misfire code I would say you have a COP going out. Thank you for your service!

After sitting for a month, there may be moisture in the tank. Try a can of dry gas and fill up the tank. Next time your gone for a while, put some fuel stabilizer in there.
