Can anyone tell me if the DPFE part number F77Z-9J460-AB will work for a 98 Expy with the 4.6L? Found one on eBay for half price, but I'm not sure of the correct part number...Thanks!

 

Look under the hood of your truck.

If your current DPFE sensor has the rubber hoses for the connection, that is the correct part number.

If you have the DPFE sensor that plugs directly onto the two tubes, the part number is different.

Hi! Crossed that part number for you, It came up as a Borg Warner EGR176 when I crossed it. It will NOT fit the expy. It fits the following;

The part you need is made in the aftermarket by Standard Motor Products, Part number VP10, or ford Number F48E-BA,BB.



Check that out there, that's a picture of VP9, the same thing as VP10.

I need the same thing...they say to only use Motorcraft DPFE sensor...is this one it or a generic aftermarket that won't last long?
