changing the plugs

is it that hard to change the plugs in a 04 5.4. whats the problem with the stock plugs that make it so hard.

their not hard, their just a major PITA cuz they will just snap off, really bad deal

You really need to do a search on the subject and do a lot of reading. Also, do a search for the TSB that is Fords solution. Yes, the problem is real, especially if you do not follow the TSB.

Depending on where you live...ie corrosive/wet environment doing it at half the interval may only give you half the problems or maybe you will be lucky. Overnight oil soak makes a huge difference.

i live in southeast texas and what do u mean about oil soak. what do i do. ive rebuilt 350s before but have never worked on this truck any.

o man am i going to have fun. my truck has 133000 on it and the plugs have yet to be changed.
