My first vehicle was a Ford Ranger and I loved it to death. Came into money, and got the big brother, my F150. Love the truck, and will repeat someday.

I have never really considered another truck for a daily driver for the past few years. Have a '97 F150 with 235,000 on it that has a few problems, but it has led a hard life and i am surprised it lasted that long -- it will soon be retired with a set of paddles on the back as a "sand dune only vehicle"

My '05 F150 has 78k on it --- the only prob it has had was a rearend shim that was misadjusted -- but it was taken care of early under warranty. It has a 5.4 and has plenty of power, but pretty poor mileage.

Hate to say it though, i am not a complete blue oval diehard , '67-72 Chevy pickups are my hobby and i love making them go fast. , When its time for the missus to get a new vehicle, its more than likely gonna be the current Denali or Escalade, too. I like the GM SUV's better than the Ford or Lincoln's.

But, this is an F150 forum --- for my daily use, the only thing that can replace my F150 will be an F 250 possibly

Without a doubt. I'd buy another Ford Truck.

I might be caught owning a chevy, but never a dodge. And I'd have to hange my head in shame, if I wasn't driving a F150.

I did

In 2.5 months on my 07 I'm at 6000 miles This is my 4th F150, before that I owned 2 Rangers. I see no reason to quit buying Ford trucks. I drive a lot of miles, and I've never been left wit.

This is my second Ford, the first one was a Ford Fairmont 1978, 302 engine, bulletproof engine, and now my F-150, planning on selling it next year and getting a new one, let's hope things go well.

I'm on my 8th Ford truck. (yeah, I'm old). Actually test drove the chebbie before I bought the '07, but their way too soft for my taste. I can't even open the door on a Dodge without it just feeling cheap, tinny, and light weight.
Only one Ford engine let me down, a V6 in an '84 Bronco II. And even then the little woman had it at the time a rod went through the block. I still went and got it and drove it home, about 30 miles. So technically it didn't leave anyone stranded.

You mean there is another brand of truck???? NOT!! these half tons are more capable than half tons ever have been. If I need more truck, I will get a f-250 or f-350 and the competition is in the dust.

I always liked the look of a nice chevy, but my brother bought a chevy 2500 a few month ago and sold me is f150. Let's just say the F150 still runs great and I drive it everyday. He on the other hand has to change the oil in his truck every week. Something like milky white on the oil stick. He wishes he never sold me his F150. Oh and did I mention, the f150 is a 1997, his chevy is a 2002. I LOVE IT!!!!!!! Ford trucks all the way.

Already have! Only cuz I was young, and wasn't very nice to my first truck. My 89 was punished every day to racing, off-road, work, and hauling. Plus daily driving. My new one has 141000 miles, and runs better than most my friends cars with less than 50k. I see fords sell at 250k plus. I have had three fords, and have trusted and loved everyone.
