Cool

Those AMX's were under rated. We sold quite a few AMC's in those days. One of the cars I had then that I really loved was an Ambassador SST 4-door. It had the 390, dual exhaust, power everything, Dark metallic green and gray crushed velour interior. But, I hated those vacuum operated wipers... My girlfriend at the time had a fetish for shrimp. One night while we were out cruising she got a bag for the night, and some how, she spilled the darn juice that was in the bag all over the seat. I couldn't get the smell of shrimp out of it!

Yea the one I had was a copper color, - remember that color lol. Also had an old dark brown Cougar w/hideaway heads and a plaid vinyl top. Both those cars were cheap and fairly rusty, but they were cool. Still took good car of them. Lived on a dirt road back then and always creep'ed down it until I found pavement, =- then cleaned the carbon out.

BTW, - I think I would have dropped the girlfriend and seat off at the shrimp house, - if she did that to mine. Well, unless she some other very respectable talents anyway.

Definitely would buy another. We have 3 2006 F150s,1 2008 F150, and 1 E150 at work. One 2006@430,425 miles, one @380,200, and one @360,450. The 2008 F150 has 320,000 and the E150 has 241,000. One F150 had the trany rebuilt but the rest have needed minor repairs(2008 had AC go bad twice and one of the 2006s also).
Plus Ford did not take any bailout money like the rest.

Ohhh Yeahhhh! My first car was a 1957 Fairlane and I have owned 10 Fords since. I only hope the paint doesn't flake off my next one :-)

I swear it seems like every damn girl I know that has a preference is a Cheby girl . . . But they've all told me that my truck is either nice, sexy, or "new" looking (my personal favorite), even if it's a Ford.

My second car was a 99 Expedition and I loved it. Unfortunately she crapped out on me. I'll never buy a truck that is not a Ford. I think dodge interiors are a bit drab to look at and Chevy just can't attract my eyes. Fords are beautiful inside and out, comfortable have good motors, and lets be honest when it comes to a lifted truck (personal preference) Fords look the best!

I want a diesel so badly, I love those 6.7s. That one is definitely nice, save the bulldog rake. I've driven a few that were that size or a little smaller, and a 3/4 ton is completely different truck. Massive inside too. I want a 95-97 supercrew 7.3 or a pre 04.5 Cummins though, don't want to have to remove all the emissions crap.
