So I had probs like a month ago with my Idle, and running rough,I changed the plugs,fuel filter and added some seafoam, ran like a champ, So I wash it the other day and it surges a bit,Drives fine
Let it set and then 3 days later I drive it and it misfires like a bitch with a lean code on cylinder one......My cop went out and auto zone said it was number 1...No No silly boy it was number 5 can this be happening again where I need to replace another coil or do you guyd think that it is a bad Injector?

 

i just want to clarify something first... you washed the engine correct?

if so, COPS dont seem to last long after doing so.

 

No I did not wash the engine, but I have a bagged truck so there are not any wheel wells so I imagine that maybe some moisture got in some where and that after it sat for a day or so that the damage was already done, I had replaced it with a el cheapo coil on plug so I bought the pack of 8 from global, I am just kinda of curious, my dash is like a christmas tree do to the large amount of things that have been moved and removed.....
