today my engine took a dump. i have 180,000 miles on it and have not had 1 problem. yesterday i porred injector cleaner into it and today i came up a hill and the engine just quit! WTF. It sounds like some sort of air leek and as if its only running on a coupple cilenders. could this be the problem or just a coinsidence?:o

 

check all vacumn lines, check your plugs, when was the last time u changed the fuel filter?? check all the tune up related things first.

 

Just guessing but if you poured the cleaner into the gas tank it might have loosened some crud in the tank and plugged the fuel pump screen filter. The fuel pressure might test okay but it should fail a flow (volume) test. I hope I'm wrong cause it's a bitch to pull the tank and pump.
