Just a note. The 2004 4.6 F-150 went back to an full metal intake again. At least my 2004 romeo engine from a F-150 manufacured in March '03 at the Kansas plant does. And yes it is a PI head engine.

Doug,

Is that engine for a new model F-150? It looks like it has the drive by wire throttle body.

Correct you are, that engine came from a New Body Style F-150 not a Heritage edition.

I reused my TB Elbow as they are different and a new BBK TB on my installation.

My 2001 PI 4.6 has the aluminum intake. It's an early build Romeo.
