what would win in a all out race. a ford f150 5.4, dodge ram 1500 5.9, or a nissan titan 5.6?

 

If it was a race to the gas station, the ford would win HANDS DOWN!!!

 

why the sudden inquiries about wuts fastest? who cares, its a truck and trucks are made for work, not racing.

lets see. ford doesnt make lightning anymore right? chevy race trucks are a joke that SS truck? dodge has the fastest stock pickup viper v10 drivetrain as far as i know. ok royal blue lets hook that titan to 250 with a powerstroke lol.

 

not trying to start anything. Just seems like ford needs to come out with a bigger engine to keep up with them. has anyone heard much about the 6.2 liter hurricane?

hurricane?? is that new ford truck coming soon??? every car maker is making motors smaller and smaller and trying to squeeze more power out of them.

 

I dont think the ram 1500 5.9L "360" will outrun our trucks would they? To me they are extremly slow. The hemi is a different story

 

The 360 may well be the most inefficient engine ever built! You have to shut it off when you're at the gas pump, or it will never fill up!

 

A buddy of mine ir running low 13s on his naturally aspirated engine. 360 crate in a single cab.

 

Well if you pour enough nitrous into a beetle, it will run 13's

chevy is offering a 6.0 in a half ton, toyota is coming out with a 5.7, up from the 4.8, nissian offers a 5.6 and dodge has a 5.7

chevrolet took the corvette zo6 to a 427 this year and dodge has a 6.0 liter.
chevy offers a 496 gas engine in a 3/4 ton

engines are getting bigger and bigger every year ( except for ford) their brilliant engineers gave us a 5.4 that was maxed out the first day of production and gave us self ejecting plugs at no charge.

 

Ford will be coming out with the 8.3 inline six this summer....
