Help!!! Clunking/Trans slip under acceleration...
Okay, maybe this belongs in the Transmission section, but I need help, I'm gonna have to get this fixed asap, but I want some advice so I don't get any runarounds from the dealer til my warranty expires!!!
So under regular acceleration, when it is warm/hot out & when the a/c is on, & sometimes not on, the 1-2 shift produces a big slip, & a clunk...
Anybody have this on the latest F's??
- 2005 Lariat 4x4 Screw, pretty much stock for now...
Help me Guru's!!!
Thanks!

I keep hearing more and more about "clunks" on 05's and 06's.
Just take it in and see what the dealer has to say. But it most likely is some kind of internal transmission problem. Just the clunking could be related to something else, but the slipping, I doubt it. At least, not unless you keep rubbing axle grease on your tires.
I used to know a guy several years ago who would spray tire foam on the back tires of his Nissan P/U because that was the only way he could break them loose. LOL
