make sure your fuel cut off switch or( inersha switch..) cuts off pressure... try to start shouldnt start but if does let if run till it dies... at autozone they sell a tool in a pack of 5 for all vehicles.. youll need that to disconnect the fuel lines... .. make sure the flow of the new filter is pointing toward the engine.. reconnect and plug in fuel cutoff switch or pop up inersha switch.. located behind the kickpanel under the glove box on the side of the truck.. turn key on and off a couple times.. before starting...

I can change mine out in 5 minutes or less.I don't relieve the pressure;it takes too long.

I don't either. Just wrap a rag around the fittings when you pop them off to catch the fuel. I do wear eye protection, just in case. But I always do when I am under it to keep the dirt out of my eyes. I wonder how all that dirt got under there??? Hmmmm LOL
