Got Me a New Truck!

Hello everyone. I went and got myself an '06 F-150 XLT Supercab today. This is my first truck, and while I am not completely new to the forums, I would like to hear advice on things not to do/to do right now in these first couple weeks. I apologize if this is not the correct forum for a question like this.
Thanks.

Well since you bought a Ford will let you stay Welcome

The only advice I know is not to get in a wreck, having to repair a new truck is painful.

Talking new truck

as it says in your manual, vary your engine speed and road speed for the first2000 miles so the drive train will brake in properly. also go back to the dealership after 3000 miles to change the oil! that way all the metal brake in particles are cleaned out. also DON'T tow anything until after first 1000 miles, even then don't tow faster than 50mph for first 500miles of towing. just read your manual, it's all there. MOST IMPORTANTLY, enjoy the new truck man!!!!
