Head Gasket replacement, do i have to:

do i have to take the intake off to change the gastket on the right hand side on the 5.0 1990 f-150 Lariat. How do i do it.is it that is it just simply take the intake off or any special procedures i need to follow?

Yep you got to tear down the whole top of the engine and once you got it down that far imo you'd be dumb not to change the other side too. and it wouldn't hurt to get the head checked from the side that is messed up
