460 in a 94-95

460 in a 94-95

hey i was wondering how much trouble a 460ci engine would be to swap into a body style 94-95 truck

Should be easy if you find a donor truck with a 460 in it, like a f-250 or 350 of 92-97 range. Just throwing any 460 in requires new motor mounts etc. so you'd have to find some or make em. Cool swap idea though, I'm kinda partial to the big blocks myself, here's mine in my unfinished car:

You will need the tranny too. The basic truck is the same as F250 etc that had 460, so all the parts are/were available.

Yup, get a donor F250/350 and swap motor, mounts, tranny, computer, and harness over.

itll fit but dont start another friggin thread about ohh my gas milage sux cause i bought or put a bigger motor in my truck... it should be one of those here's your sign jokes from bill engval....
