05 4.6 starting trouble.

Hi first post here, i was reading in the forums and see that there were faulty injectors on certain cars, how do you know if you have these injectors. I have problems with turning on the ignition 50% of the time , it seems as if it has no battery power to turn over the motor, it kind of stutters then starts , but it always starts, any help would be much appriciated -Thanks! ...BTW there is only 23k miles on the motor

You may have a defective battery. I have seen new batterys that went bad. If the battery gets low that affects the PCM. The PCM will then have to retrain itself which means it will run messed up at startup and/or for a few miles. Did you add any accessories that could be draining your battery while the truck is off? Are the connections clean? If the battery is good then you may want to disconnect the battery cables for a minute or so then reconnect. Then take it for a ride. This will allow the PCM to retrain itself. Which may help with the starting problem. Good luck
