Intake Plenum Question

Ive had the heads off my 97 150 4.6l for almost a year and a half now and Im almost finished with putting everything back together. On the intake plenum right behind the alternator there are two threaded holes, and I cant remember what they are ?!?! Can someone jog my memory? Also does anyone have any picture of their engine bay just so I can have a look?

thanks a lot

Chris

I think i know what you are talking about, its an upright metal bracket, that flatens out and faces to the drivers side? Those are the throttle body plastic cover that says 5.4/4.6 triton etc.

And i should have a pic around here somewhere....

BTW my T/B cover is off in that pic

Kinda hard to see, i think i have some other pics on my computer at home, if that doesnt help you, let me know and ill try to find a better pic for you.

I unfortunatley just looked and i dont have any other pics, The bracket i see right behind the rad hose, and behind that Vaccum line, is has the two throttle body cables running through it. Im gonna have darrenws6 post his engine bay, and i bet he can take a more detailed pic, if needed. Sorry i no longer have access to a digital camera.

HI!... Are you talking about these threaded holes ?

If so those are used to mount a small black bracket that holds to the back of the alternator. Keeps it from flexing.

You can kind of see it in this pic. There is two bolts that hold the bracket to the upper intake manifold and another that holds it to the alternator.
