i have a extra 4.6 where would be best to get rid of it and whats it worth?

i had my 4.6 blow at 117,000 miles. so i bought one out of the same year truck 2002 W code romeo 89,000 miles, then i found a 2003 romeo out of a expedition with 5000 miles, so my delema i have a 4.6 romeo pi heads it has 89,000 miles i put a new oil pump in while i had it out ( before i found the nicer engine!) so it has a new oil pump i never installed it, i took the intake off i was going to change the gaskets,! so whats it worth where would i sell it ? i would like to trade it for a nice 5.0 or 5.8 for my 72 stang i have so what does everyone think?

You can use romeo heads on a windsor block and you'll end up with a better head than the winsor heads. the windsor heads are the ones that are notorious for blowing out plugs

The windsor PI heads are the ones that are ones you have to watch out for. The NPI heads it's not as big of a problem. Your truck is a 1997 which if it is stock it has NPI heads. The plug blow out problem is a bigger problem on the 5.4L due to the fack that EVERY 5.4L is equipped with Windsor heads. Not nearly as many 4.6L PI Windsor engines as there is Romeo 4.6L engines. The original PI 4.6L's were all windsors. Those were only available in the mustang from 1999-2000. The 5.4L also went to PI heads in 1999. This is were the plug blow out problem firsted showed up. People modify mustangs and adding a blower to those cars made the problem show up faster. In 2001 the 4.6L romeo PI engines were produced. While originally almost all truck 4.6L's were made at the windsor plant that has since changed. Most 4.6L engines are produced in the Romeo plant nowadays. Yes there are still some 4.6L being put into the trucks. The problem with the windsor heads is there is only 3 threads that hold the spark plugs in plus there is something about the casting of the windsor head, which I forget exactly what it is, that makes the heads weaker in the spark plug area. All in all the Windsor pi head is just a horrible design.
