Engine swap

I have a 93 F150 XL 4x4, it has the original straight 6 in it...It refuses to die. I have come across a 351C and a C6 tranny, you can see where I'm going with this.
is it wise to go to a straight axle as well? How's everything gunna fit? I'd really like to know what you guys think. By the way a local race car engine builder is gunna biuld the motor up pretty good.

IMHO, a Cleveland has no place in a truck. They make great HP, but at high RPM. Their port design just kills low RPM power. Let one of the early Mustang guys have the C, and go find yourself a Windsor. Stroke it to 392 and you will have a monster. The W is a bolt-in.

Why straight axle?
