looks like a good deal definatly better than stock and definatly cheaper than granatelli's 10-15% greater spark over stock

I have Accel Coil packs on my 99 4.6 (not the same thing, but they are still Accel ignition parts) and they seem to be working good. One of them actually had 2 towers that were dead on it, but Summit is being very good about it...

i have msd coil packs in my truck and they definitely out perform the stock ones.

I was thinking of going with some new accel coils also, they are a cheap upgrade. Although i will wait for more feedback before i make the buy.

you say they definitely out perform the stock ones, in which ways that you've noticed do the perform better?

for me my accel coil packs got rid of detonation, the RPM increase is hella smoother, smooth idle and less poping when u let off the go pedal at high rpms

they are about 7,000kv higher than stock coils. so there is a good difference in fuel burn

i noticed a slight difference in performance and less detonation but the biggest thing i noticed was the fact that the black soot on my tailpipes started to break away and after a few days it was gone.
