Did you ever get your light to go out?

I have the same problem. The truck is fine when first started but the light doesnt come on for a few hundred feet. I just replaced the driver's side ABS Sensor because I broke it. I had no problems before I broke and replaced this sensor.

My ABS light came on when i made a fast right hand turn through a little water and the rear axle hopped just a bit. on cold/rainy/random days it doesnt come on. thanks everyone for the info about the sensor and info on where to get the owners manual.

 

I havent had the problem but my dad had that same problem and it turned out to be his transmission but it could be many other things, his was just his transmission and it caused his light to go on becuase of the way the truck runs.
