Accel Ignition Wires

Finally did the ignition wires yesterday & it is a much bigger hassle than the plugs themselves. Those wire guide clips are a bee-otch, had to practically climb on top the engine to get at them. I went with Accel SuperStock 8mm spiral conductor replacements, and while the blue wires snaking around the engine look decent, I was not overly impressed with the fit. They didn't seem to snug down as far as the OEM wires, making me wonder about dirt and moisture infiltration. I treated the connectors with dielectric grease to mitigate those worries and when done, the truck started and purred nicely.

That leaves that last thing on my pre-winter to-do list - a little Seafoam treatment...

Yea, no flames but you could have done quite a bit better in the wire department. Not a fan of any of Accell products. LiveWires or MSD either one. Would have fit great and lasted. Taylor has some great looking wires and know a lot of people with great luck with those but no personal experience myself. That Taylor "409" wire has got to be the best looking wire out!!!
