Throttle body spacer question?

I have a 2005 f150 5.4.
Put on a k&n 63series aircharger. Can I add an airaid throttle body spacer
and would it be worth the money.

Question

What about your MAF sensor ? Did you stay with stock or replace it ?
Some of the claims for spacers seem too good to be true.

Love the K&N 63
much quicker throttle response
powerful takeoff
60-90 feels like I added a new gear
sounds great
The k&n and flowmaster american/thunder are only mods so far

The throttle body spacer think works about as well as the Tornado Gas Saver, so I've heard. You would be better off putting that money towards some electric fans, you would even see some results.

my tb spacer works great. holds down all the papers i have in the garage... on the truck it worked wonders too... no mpg no power but it made this cool little whisle that SOUNDED like a 50lb of nos. but once i got the the true duals i couldnt hear it anymore so it was just added weight. now it keeps the papers from flying in the wind.do urself a favor tho.. just use an old bolt to hold the papers and save the 50 something u would spend on the spacer and buy a tank of gas!

The spacer is actually good for something, if you are using NOS, you can tap it for the nos jet.

I keep mine close at hand so when I feel the urge to sling something accross the shop it comes in handy.

If tb spacers worked, ford would put them on from the factory.

I wouldn't use a K&N if you ever go down a dirt road.
