First of all I just want to say I appreciate everyone here ya'll help alot but here is my new question. I have a 1994 with a 5.0 and I recerntly heard a chattering up in tyhe front of my engine and it is the Smog pump. I at first thought I would just get the eliminator and do away with it but then I got to thinking that it would probly effect my highway gas milage... I know that it recirculates some exhuast to reduce emmissions but it also allows the engien to "lean out" when your crusing so my question is if I get the smog pump elimiator will it cut back my highway gas milage? Oh and by the way its 2wd with a 5 spd and a new 306...Ive clocked right at 21 with mixed driving...mostly highway... If I drive respectivly... Its quicte hard to do with the new engine Thanks for everythign In advance....
