Exhaust Porting Question

Is it OK to match a cylinder head exhaust port to a header exhaust port with forced induction, and still have a smooth idle? Cams will be mild street grind.
I see the term " reversion dam " which refers to the head port's smaller diameter keeping exhaust pulses from backflowing, but I'm not sure it is applicable with F/I. Opinions?

I know that talking to myself is a bad sign, but maybe this will add to the group knowledge base.

After reviewing what I had, and what I read, I decided to open up the exhaust port to about 1/2 of the difference of the header's opening. I took about .0020 out of the exhst runners diameters. The header gasket scribe line is still visible.
The runner on the left is polished, and the one on the right is just ground to 80 grit.

That will only make things better, as long as you keep every metal shaving out of the head...
