Hi.

Hmmm ...

ETC codes ?

Try plugging those codes into here:

http://www.iequus.com/support/obd2_definitions.php

...(The Equus link in the thread below does not work)

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...ighlight=P2104

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...ighlight=P2104

These are relatively new since the advent of drive-by-wire / ETC, so some databases don't contain them (yet).

In any case, I believe your only recourse is a dealer visit. Should be a warranty issue - there have been reported cases of faulty ETC TB's. Replacement & /or reflash ... Quintin, any recent input?

Hope this helps.

Cheers
Bubba

Warranty or not, only a dealer is going to be able to address this issue...

ETC: a.k.a electronic throttle control, a.k.a "drive-by-wire", a.k.a. little pile of silicon calling the real shots on your right foot's input

Good luck.

Cheers

JMC gotem right.
Listen up,,,,, many of you donnot have the corrrect or complete code list and often get mislead.
Go to the SCT Superchip site and print out the Ford specific list.
Makes a big difference.
You will see things you never knew existed.

Those are all electronic throttle control codes, and most likely can be fixed with a new TPS sensor and reprogramming the PCM to the latest available calibration.

Quintin, just curious, since he has a dealer problem and difficulty getting a reprogram. Would he be able to replace the TPS and use a programmer such as the Edge or Xcal2 for the reprogram?

Everything is stock except for a cat back Borla stainless exhaust (22" wheels but not fitted yet)
I have asked ford UK for help but got nothing but negative rubbish spat back at me!
Done 20,000 miles and serviced 3 times with genuine motorcraft parts apart from the last service I used a Fram oil filter that caused knocking replaced 2 weeks later with a Motorcraft one

Nope. Need to update the base calibration of the PCM, no aftermarket tuner or programmer can do that.

It can be removed and sent...but obviously the truck won't be moving when its gone. I guess call around for a dealer that can help (UK or state-side) and have it arranged for fast shipment and service.

Good luck
