Hi.

Passenger side firewall in the engine compartment. There are three connectors on it. Can't miss it. don't forget to disconnect the battery first.

Be aware that you still may have a physical fault in the TPS as Qunitin said, so a reflash may not solve it entirely, or at all.

Can't help you with the dealer... what's up with your dealer(s) in the U.K anyway? Surley there must be one that has a brain??? Try PM'ing "English Adam" - he may be able to recommend one and save you some hassles. Just a thought.

Good luck.

Cheers
Grog

Just a couple of novice questions on this one. . .
1. Does the P2111 code indicate a mechanical problem which may be corrected by the owner?
2. If it is a mechanical problem that can be corrected, will the other three codes be cleared if the mechanical problem is corrected?

Please educate me on this one, I am eager to learn?

THANKS!

The only code to really pay attention to in that assortment is P2135, A/B voltage correlation fault. The TPS compares two voltages, and if they don't agree, it'll think that the throttle is stuck closed, stuck open, or somewhere in between. Whatever caused the P2135 can cause all those other DTCs.

When 2104 is set with 2111 the instructions say to repair the electronic throttle body falts first. I would check the obvious first. Obstruction in the throttle body, unplugged motor, corrosion in the connectors.

All good stuff
Tomorrow is my day off see if I can sort it then!
The problem with UK dealers is they all hide behind computers and if their computer does not tell them what to do then they can't help you!
I have been to 8 different dealers so far and get the same response
I can take it to an American car importer who can sort the problem but in the past I have discovered that if you are a little bit wiser to the problem then you can save yourself a few pennies. ie suck through the teeth "it's an import it's gonna cost ya"
Basically wanna do as much as I can hence the questions to you chaps
Thanks
