How many spark plugs

does my 99 f150 V8 5.4l engine have?
I have heard anywhere from 1 to 8.
I am at 93,000 miles. What should I do next to my truck?
Replace coils, sensors etc???

well if its an 8 cylinder. it should have 8 plugs. 1 for each cylinder. and if i was u i wouldnt worry about the censors. its nothing big. if they ever start acting up. just unplug the battery for a while and the warning lights should go away.

Each cylinder has a Coil-on-Plug, it is located directly above the spark plug (you have to remove the COP to get to the plug).
I recommend staying with Motorcraft stuff if your truck is stock.
