A buddy of mine asked what I could find out about the v10 from '97. He is looking at buying two retired airport bus type vans w/ about 200k miles each. They are a good deal for the wheelchair lifts alone, but he's trying to get any information possible about these motors. He was mainly asking about the spark plugs being an issue since he knows i blew two out of my 5.4. I told him i wouldn't let that alone stop me from buying them. Anyway, any other troublesome issues? 200k is a lot it seems for this motor.

 

Early ones had some problems with excessive crank end play. Otherwise, they're okay. Gas sucking bastards, but they're okay.
