Oxygen Sensor & Rich Code

Hello Guys,

95 F150 was complaining. Put it on a computer at autozone and it said oxygen sensor and running rich. I replaced the oxygen sensor. The old oxygen sensor was very white.

I was told that this is a sign that I have a head gasket leak and the white stuff is anti-freeze burning through the tail pipe.

How much of this is truth?

24 hours later and the check engine light is back on. I haven't had it checked yet but I'm pretty sure that it is going to say the same thing.

Any advice would be apprciated.

Thanks

Tom

Rich and lean codes are seldom due to faulty sensors.

Need the exact code(s), not whatever interpretation the idiots at AutoZone provided. On a 95, you should be able to pull these with a paperclip.
