Same here, go to the Motorcraft website to find the info and usage charts on oil.
The 5w20 is a hydrocracked and blend oil and superior to the other grades that are not refined in the same manor.
I have 71,000 on an 02 4.6 and tow at max gross combined weight with the 5w20 oil. Still cannot hear the engine idling in the cab.
Ya got to stop worshipping oil so much and use the right one.
It's only $2.40 a qt.

But this has been the best vehicle I've ever had. I'd take a cross country trip in it tomorrow.

If only I got better than 18 mpg.

if ur oil is coming out clean then that means the dirt is still in your motor.

if ur using a true synthetic, as in Amsoil or Mobil 1 (and i think Redline to), then u need not add any modifiers to it, it's already as good as it gets.

Or you don't have any dirt to begin with.

It hasn't happened yet but you should re read the post that you responded to. He said:

not that it came out totally clean.

Can you explain how he would get the clean oil out of his engine but leave the dirt in?

I am an automotive tech. All I have to say is that if it was good enough for ford it is good enough for me. I have not paid for oil in a long time, but I use what ever came from the factory in all of my cars. Never any problems. For ya'll that change your oil at 4k-8k thats my paycheck. For ya'll that use all those additives and ultra expensive oils you are throwing money down the drain.
