No A/c On Cold Start

i have 2005 f150 sper cab stx supercab 4x2 with 30k miles. i know it is sill under warranty, but i was just wondering if anyone else was having problems with the a/c not blowing cold on a cold engine start. i live in texas and it is hot 24 hrs this time of the year, but it doesn't matter if it is what part of the day or night it is, when the engine is cold, the a/c won't blow cold until i rev the engine a little. after that it is fine. does any of this sound familiar to anyone. thanks for the feedback!

On intial cold startup, check to see if the compressor clutch has engaged. If not, whack it with a broomstick to see if it pulls in. If so, the clutch's air gap needs attention.
