Runs better in high heat?
Runs better in high heat?
It's been 90-100 here for weeks and my little pony puller has been running stronger than ever. Even the wife said so when she took a load to Goodwill. Mileage is the same pitiful 12mpg (30-55mph streets, very little freeway) but why the better performance? Did SoCal suddenly get some good gas? Could it be that the PCM is not adjusting the mixture properly for the higher temps and letting it run rich instead of the usual lean? Whatever it is I like it so maybe I'll wrap a heating pad around the PCM and set it on 100
