I know that this code means the computer is still trying to learn driving characteristics, or something to that extent. I wonder how long it should take to clear, though? I installed my new Superchips 1715 tuner last week, and have put about 300 miles on since then. I never checked for any DTCs until today, just out of curiosity. I didn't really expect any, but got a P1000 and a P1635 (I think, not for sure off the top of my head). The P1635 means that the axle/tire size doesn't agree with what the computer sees, which makes sense because I reset my tire size with the tuner. Will this code continue to show up? I am really more concerned about the P1000 because I know I can't pass inspection with it showing up. What should I do? Return to stock and wait for the code to go away, or just wait another week in the current tow-perf mode?
