coil pack nightmare
i have a 2001 f150 4x4 5.4 with 63000 mi so far 3 coil packs have failed after rainy conditions is there an aftermarket coil pack that is trouble free or a fix to the problem i dont want to replace 3 coil packs in 6 months again
Don't mess around with replacing one at a time. Do them all.
From what I've read once one goes down the rest will follow.
Be sure to inject dielectric grease in the boot, in the connector socket, and smear a little around the sealing flange to help keep water out of the spark plug well.
I bought a brand new set of eight coils off E-Bay for about 100.00. They've been installed for about 2 months now. No problems.

Do what you can to keep the coils dry and I'd suggest just replacing the bad ones.
