i have a 99 5.4L it say it is a ignition coil "c" primary/secondary. what does that mean and what do i have to do it to fix it. also my check engine light will come on and flash 6-8 times and then go off what does that mean. when i check it, it says multiple cylinder misfire. what is wrong? any answers will be much appreciated. and thanks ahead of time.

 

ignition coil c is the third one back on the passenger side. it sounds like you might be in need of a new one.

does the truck run/drive pretty rough too?

i would replace that one coil and boot and see how it is after that. make sure you get the codes erased after doing the work to see if the cel comes back on.

 

Open electricl circuit on coil #3. Make certain it's plugged in. If so, check it's reistance. Replace if faulty.
