NO Start
Hi, newbie here,
I have a problem with a 2001 King Ranch 5.4 v8 90,000. Ran fine yesterday in fact filled up and got a little over 18 miles per gallon. Went to startit today and turned over fine, just wouldnt start. Went to work with work van and just got in an hour ago. going to look at it tomorrow and needed some advice.
Your expert advice is greatly and most humbly appreciated.

Start here: https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...air+fuel+spark Other than the reference to the 89 and pulling its codes (your truck requires an OBDII scan tool), it applies to you.
Verify proper PATS proveout if so equipped.
Check for installation of any aftermarket alarms with possible disables.
Once you figure out which subsystem is at fault, it will be easier to diagnose.

Got a chance to check Air/spark, went to check fuel pump reset and it was fine. Buddy told me to check relay because of the age and miles. If that isnt it maybe the pump itself. Any way to disconnect PATS or verify? Thanks for the other info and site.
