Coil problem

I have a 2000 F150 4x4 with a 4.6 in it...it's done 220,00 kms, and I have just had a second coil replaced within 6 months. Anyone have any info about this issue? Can I expect to replace the remaining 6 over the next little while??
Thanks

Yes you can... lol.

I have had 3 go out on my 2000 5.4. The first 2 went within a month of each other. The third failed a year later. It's been 4 months and the other 5 haven't failed me yet. I have not heard of a way to test these to see if they are getting close to going out. Many just replace all 8 at once. I bought 2 last time and now have a spare in the glove box waiting for the next time.

All kinds of info - 3 of the last 10 thread starters posted answered your question - people keep asking the same one over and over without looking for the anweres 2 or 3 lines down.
