F150 Intake

I have a 1995 F150 w/ the 302 & I want to replace the stock intake. There aren't that many out there...I was thinking about trying to swap the the GT40 heads & intake from a first gen. lightning onto my truck...Has anyone done this or have ANY experience with this??

I don't know if 351 stuff will fit on your 302, but there are packages available from Edelbrock, Trick flow and Ford Motorsport to name some. You may be surprised to find out what will fit, even late 5.0 stang stuff. BBK also makes a larger t-body.

I just jointed the F150 forum. I have a 1992 F150, I swapped the 302 for a mild 351, I have a GT40 intake for it and am getting ready to install. Did you get yours on?? any problems to look out for??

The heads will work but the lower intake will not.

GT40 intakes are made for 5.0 and 5.8, you just have to get the correct one.
