Fluid Leak under truck

I have a 97 F150 S/C 2wd with the 4.6. I've noticed every now and then a puddle forming on the garage floor under my truck under the motor (rear of the motor). The fluid appears clear and has no odor to it. It appears to be water. I've actually seen it slowly dripping from the back of the motor. It only occurs after I've been driving it.....but doesn't show up each time though. And no, I haven't been driving through any water or puddles. My coolant level does not change. There is usually a few ounces that leaks onto the floor (about a 1 square foot patch). I haven't been using the A/C as it hasn't been warm enough yet. Anyone know what this might be? An A/C leak?

Not a leak. This is condensation from the A/C system. It is quite normal. Towards the rear of the engine on the passenger side, you will see an open tube. This is where it is coming from.

Ditto. Nothing to worry about.

FYI even if you don't use AC you might still be running the pump--- if you use the defroster at all it engages the AC system.

Also I've seen the switch go out and engage the pump all the time.

Thanks for the FYI - That answered my questions and concerns , just noticed the same thing .."the puddle" Then the ac seemed like it was running and was wondering why , thought I had problems, had it on defrost, glad I came here to this thread.. No worries or work to be done lol..
