thats is plenty of air for ur engine. just be sure to put it on the hot side of the radiatior.

Presumably the hot side is the side with the upper radiator hose....

If you can, I suppose if you can incorporate your existing shroud or make a new one, it'd increase the efficiency.

A guy in the local NAPA store said something about some people using two fans, but rather than side by side, he said front and back - I do wonder how efficient that would be and whether they'd actually fight each other (one'd push the other pull of course)

I suppose with the existing belt-driven fan, to remain standard in terms of belts etc, you just remove the existing fan and clutch, and leave the pulley in place...?

yes the fan and clutch are kinda just spun on there... they are a PITA to get off if u dont have the right tools to do it with.
