ok so heres the deal a couple places around town have non oxygenated fuel (91 oct) i have a super chips tuner set on 91 performance. (2000 f-150 5.4) ok well its sez non oxy is for offroad or classic cars lawnmowers etc. my ? is ... is it safe to put in my truck? it is usually 10 cents a gallon more then the super 91, but i can get it for 5 cents cheaper then the 87 unleaded ... good old connections. as far as i can tell the only differance is the fuel is non oxygenated but still uses the same formula and cleaning agents as the regular stuff. so what does non oxy actually do emissions/performance wise? is it worth buying it cheaper or does it do more harm then good??
