OK...I have a 2002 F150 larit w/5.4L. I have a sweet cat back "True duels", Superchips tuner, K&N FIPK air intake w/air dam.... What should I do next? The MAF will work up to 400hp. So im told. Im ok with that? E-Fan and TB are my next two thoughts. Anyone have one or both of them and what did you think. Is there anything else I should do instead? O...and anyone know what HP I might have at this point?

efans yes... spacer... no its a paper weight u wont feel anything and it does nothing for u. it makes a whistle. give me 45 bucks ill whistle in ur truck all day for u. invest the spacer money in to underdrive pullies.
oh wait i dont kno if u meant the spacer or just a differant tb, if anything i would find a used tb and try removing some of it urself with a dremel or something. there was a post once how to port it out. if u can find a used one from a junk yard and pay 20 bucks or something i would try that before dishing out the big bucks, if it works it works if not hey it was 20 bux and u learned what not to do.
underdrive pullies just put less parasetic load on the engine so the crank doesnt have to turn as much assecories, frees up horse power u already have. i would do a serch there are quite a few people with them. also try looking at troyer performace's web site. they got them for sale.

Just take a look at your pulleys and you will see a series of thin ribs on the pulleys where the belt lay in. It will either have 6 spaces or 8. If I remember correctly the 2002 has 8, but I would double check.
I have not personally used the Troyer kit, I have read some complaints about the mounting method though. I went with the Flex-a-lite setup for the ford application. It mounts directly in the stock location, has two fans, and pulls up to 5000cfm. It is expensive, at $399 + shipping from summitracing.com but I found it to be well worth it.
I am not a fan of underdrive pullies though. I used them years ago on my mustang and I had charging and cooling issues. I ended up removing the alternator and waterpump pullies and just using the crank underdrive in order to get the system to still maintain a charge and cooling capacity. But I have heard some people who love thier pullies from troyer.

The down side to the two pulley kits like Troyer's is that the alternator is underdring 20%. So, if like me you have a 95 amp alternator you could be losing up to 19 amps. I ran the pulleys with the Troyer efans for a few months, with no problems though.
