ok..we all know about the fender hole for the air intake. 02'. What do you think about mounting a 120mm fan on it to push cooler air into my intake."K&N fipk with shroud". Or is that a waste of time? I even thought about a small oil cooler w/ a mini coolent tank and a pump. for the air intake fan. I did it to my computer. Why not the truck?

 

stock intake provides the coolest air possible...

 

It's a waste of time. The intake sucks in air faster than a 120mm computer fan can push it(I'm assuming that the type of fan you are talking about). It will just be an obstruction.

Try holding your hand close to the end of the intake tube at idle, and feel how much suction there is. And that's just at idle.

 

ya...true...that would be one loud fan to push that much air...lol Just my ADD mind going and going and going.......
