Any ideas out there how to get another 100 HP out of this engine without spending thousands of dollars. I like the looks of the truck and I currently do not have any problems with it (so far) but the lack of power is very frustrating. My friend bought an 06 4x4 V8 (gas) and has the same complaint. I'm looking at Nissans real hard, but willing to invest a little cash to get this Ford's HP up where it should be before I throw in the towel.

18 cylinder, 6 turbos
10157 lb-ft torque @ 1500 RPM
3,500 hp @ 1900 RPM.
Might want to upgrade your fuel pump, since this engine has 6 fuel filters. And some heavy duty springs may be in order.
Holy *****, I'm scared. Scared to see what justifies the need for this, say those 2 storey dump trucks in Alberta that have stairs in front of the grille? WOW, hey and diesel is cheaper now anyways, why not?
