Question Motor interchange

Can 4.6 romeo motor in 1997 F150 be replace with a 4.6 windsor engine in a1997 F150 as complete assembly ?

More than likely yes, I would wait for more responses because as far as I know, many different engines can interchange no prob like navigator in f-150 etc.

I am just finishing a 2002 Romeo transplant into my 1997 F150.
I have had lots of issues with different bolt sizes and different accessory mounting, different pulleys and belt. Also the different heads.
If you have a 97 Romeo vs a 97 Windsor the differences might be less of a problem.
Should work though. Especially if you are working with two complete engines.
