"check engine" light.

Yesterday my check engine light came on, so I hooked up a code reader today and got code P0156 (O2 Sensor malfunction, bank 2, sensor 2). What I am wondering is what sensor is this? I looked underneath and found 3 O2 sensors. And how much does a new O2 sensor cost? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Make sure to check your hoses. If an air hose has come lose or has a leak in it, it will affect the O2 sensors reading and make the computer think the O2 sensoe is bad whick will cause the check engine light to come on. It's better to spend 15 minutes checking hoses than spending who knows how much money on an O2 sensor that doesn't need to be replaced.

I provided a detailed answer yesterday to your first posted thread regarding this issue.

Go back to it, read and follow the listed suggestions, and leave this thread to die. Please do not start multiple threads for a single problem. It makes maintaining continuity almost impossible.

This is not a vacuum hose related problem.
