In line 6 trouble

I have a 96 f150 XL. It bucks and puts out a white cloud (gas) for the 1st two miles on days that the humidity is over 70%. After two miles it will run great the rest of the day. It also has these problems when it is rainny. If the humidity is low and it hasnt rained there will be no problems. Ive replaced the coil pack and sprayed the distributer with wd-40 many times and it makes no difference. spark plug wires are fine too.

two days ago it was raining and it died and hasnt started since.

any ideas

Have you stopped by Autozone and had the computer codes checked ?

It sounds like a sensor is shorting/failing due to the humidity, or ...... BARoMETRIC PRESSURE sensor? I am not sure if your truck even has one.

have someone check the computer error codes or consider Arizona.

I had an 83 with the 300-6. Went through distributor caps, rotros and wires about every two years. Buy the best wires and cap/rotor you can. Spraying with silicone will help, but not for long. The only thing I could figure, was because the distributor and wires were on the side of the engine, they didn't get baked dry, like on a V-6 or V-8.
